Data We Process by Service Area
Investment Accounts: Identity documents, financial history, investment suitability assessment data, transaction records, and portfolio performance data.
Digital Assets: Wallet addresses, transaction hashes, blockchain analytics data, and screening results from our Chainalysis compliance integration.
Cards & Payments: Card usage data, merchant category codes, geolocation data at point of transaction (where enabled), and spending patterns used for fraud detection.
Business Banking: Company registration documents, beneficial ownership information, financial statements, and trade finance transaction records.
Customer Support: Support ticket content, chat transcripts, call recordings (where applicable), and satisfaction survey responses.
Cross-Border Data Transfers
NBK Brokerage may transfer your personal data to countries outside Kuwait for the purposes of cloud hosting, compliance screening, and regulatory reporting. All cross-border transfers are protected by:
- Standard contractual clauses with all data processors
- Transfer impact assessments for high-risk jurisdictions
- Encryption in transit and at rest for all transferred data

Automated Decision-Making
NBK Brokerage uses automated processes for: account onboarding verification, credit risk scoring, fraud detection, transaction monitoring, and investment suitability assessment.
